Making its debut in the Q7, the HD Matrix LED headlights with laser technology as an additional high beam now include digital daytime running lights with customizable light signatures. Completing the lighting package are digital OLED rear lights with four selectable designs. With new wheel options, colors, decorative inlays, and seats featuring contrasting stitching, the Q family's most adaptable SUV now offers even more customization possibilities. The new Audi Q7 starts at 79,300 euros.
From Concept to Reality: The Evolution of the Audi Q7
The Audi Q7's journey began in 2003 as the Audi Pikes Peak quattro concept showcased at the North American International Motor Show. Designed to navigate all types of roads and light off-road terrain, the current Q7, which has captivated global customers for 18 years, remains faithful to its core principles of design, technology, and functionality. Unveiled at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA), the first SUV from Audi marked the 25th anniversary of the quattro permanent four-wheel drive with Torsen center differential, boasting a split torque distribution of 40:60 front to rear. Branded as a "superlative" in the SUV segment, the Q7 seamlessly blends sophistication, athleticism, and versatility. Since its inception, the Audi Q7 has been hailed as a versatile performer, combining prestige with adaptability.
With its imposing size, regal appearance, and spacious interior capable of accommodating seven passengers and up to 2,035 liters of luggage, the first-generation Q7 swiftly established itself as a flagship in the SUV market. From 2008 to 2012, the Q7 V12 TDI claimed the spotlight with its formidable 500 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque, surpassing all rivals in the SUV segment. The V12 TDI, manufactured at the Bratislava plant, also became the first Audi to feature a ceramic braking system as standard.

A Sleek, Spacious, and Refined Exterior
Following the introduction of the second generation with all-wheel steering in 2015 and an initial product upgrade in 2019, the latest iteration of the Audi Q7 showcases a robust yet elegant design in its 2024 refresh. As the largest and most versatile SUV in Audi's lineup, the Q7 embodies the brand's contemporary design language. Characterized by its minimalist form, clean lines, and spacious proportions, the Q7 epitomizes adaptability in any scenario.
Distinguished by assertive proportions, accentuated by striking exterior colors and wheel designs, the Q7 exudes confidence and presence. The iconic Audi Singleframe grille, now adorned with vertical inlays, commands attention and underscores the vehicle's status as a flagship model. Enhanced front-end architecture, featuring higher-positioned headlights, imparts a more commanding presence to the Q7. Complementing the design are prominent air intakes, seamlessly integrated into the vehicle's profile, further accentuating its confident stance.
Audi has streamlined decorative elements to achieve a purer, more refined aesthetic. To differentiate between the base model and the S line exterior package, elements such as the front bumper, door trim, and diffuser in the base model feature contrasting colors, emphasizing the SUV's rugged off-road capabilities. All Audi Q7 variants boast an exhaust system with visually appealing tailpipes, while the S line exterior package enhances the sporty appeal with pronounced side air intakes.
Customizable Lighting Solutions
The Audi Q7 offers a range of lighting options to suit every preference and driving condition. Standard LED headlights provide high-intensity illumination, while Matrix LED headlights are available as an option. For enhanced visibility, HD Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light technology are also offered, featuring 24 LEDs and a high-power laser diode each. Noteworthy is the introduction of digital daytime running light signatures, allowing users to select from four distinct light signatures via the MMI interface. Complementing the front lighting are the newly introduced digital OLED rear lights, providing four customizable light signatures for added visual appeal and safety.
Expanding Customization Options
The latest product upgrade introduces new interior finishes, colors, and wheel designs, further expanding the Q7's customization options. Standard features now include contrasting gray stitching on seat trim in the base model and a choice of nine decorative inlays. New finishes such as Natural Elm Burl Silver, Matte Carbon Twill, and Matte Brushed Aluminum enhance the interior ambiance, especially in models equipped with the S line sport package or SQ7 TFSI.
In addition to interior enhancements, customers can personalize their Q7 with three new metallic finishes—Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red—exuding a sporty and distinctive appeal. The updated wheel range offers a selection of five new designs ranging from 20 to 22 inches, with options for unique finishes such as Black Metallic and Gray Silk Matte with glossy black inlays.
Advanced Infotainment and Driver Assistance Systems
The Audi Q7 features an array of advanced infotainment and driver assistance systems to enhance the driving experience. Passengers can now access popular third-party apps directly from the vehicle's infotainment system, adding convenience and entertainment options. Regular software updates ensure the system remains up-to-date, while a market-specific app portfolio expands the range of available applications.
